Education begins at the sanctuary. More than 35,000 adults and children visited the Big Cat Habitat last year alone and our numbers continue to grow. Local school programs, summer camp programs and lectures are also an integral part of our education curriculum.

Because of the number of tourists that visit the Sarasota, Florida area each year the Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary has the ability to educate not only the local community but has the ability to touch a diverse worldwide classroom.
