Education Program

We believe that making a personal connection with animals promotes compassion, empathy and the motivation to make a positive difference in the world.

School Field Trips/Summer Camps
Big Cat Habitat’s children’s program focuses on educating children about our animals, animal enrichment, animal husbandry, and the conservation of species and their habitats. Children can view dozens of species of big cats and various other animals on an up-close, 1-hour tour of our facility! What an educational chance of a lifetime!

We offer tours for groups of all ages! Our 1-hour tour guides guests through our facility for an educational experience where you can stand only 4-6 feet away from our animals!

Educational Outreach Team
Our animal educators are ready to add that wild touch to learning! Big Cat Habitat has several educators who can visit your school, library, community center, festival, fair, event and more! We are always ready to educate the community about animal awareness and conservation through photos, educational materials, props, hands-on animal interactions, and a variety of special animal ambassadors!

Educational Animal Presentations
Our daily educational animal presentations are a guest favorite! Big Cat Habitat offers two FREE educational presentations every day we are open to the public. Be sure to catch our 1 pm “Birds of Paradise” and 2 pm “Variety Animal Experience.” *Please note that these FREE presentations are subject to change without notice.

Future Education Center
We hope to create an education center to expand our education programs for both adults and children. With this center, we can utilize the indoor classroom area to better educate our guests with the use of educational props, technological tools, live educational animal encounters, and a habitat viewing area.
