The Tiger is an apex predator with distinct vertical stripe pattern that runs along its body. The massive, majestic TIger is the largest member of the Felidae (cat) family and prefers prey that weigh over 200 Ilbs. This large feline is found in the wild in areas with dense vegetation and close proximity to water between west India and China-Southeast Asia area.

Weight: Males – 198 to 675lb; Females – 143 to 368lb
The tiger is mainly a nocturnal hunter but have been observed hunting during the day. In most tiger cub litters, a dominant cub often arises in the litter and dictates the play and social interactions. The dominant cub is more active than its siblings and is more likely to leave their mother earlier.
